11/5/22 - Cross Country State Results

What a great day for the Falcons at the OHSAA State Cross Country meet!

3 Falcons earn All Ohio at the State meet and the men finish 4th as a team!

The Falcon men had a great day finishing 4th in the State as a team! They were led by senior Marcus Runkle who finished 3rd earning him All Ohio Honor and sophomore Drew Walton who finished 14th earning him All Ohio Honors as well. Sophomore Nathan Phillips was 70th, sophomore Christian Reindle 73rd, freshman Connor Myers 128th, freshman AJ Ray 147th and freshman Chase Miller 153rd. There were 180 guys in the race. The men raced against the top 20 teams in the state.

For the Lady Falcons junior Anna Conrad finished 21st to earn All Ohio honors and Senior Andrea Phillips finished 118th place. There were 178 of The best runners in Ohio in the race.

The top 30 athletes in the state earn All Ohio.

10/28/22 - Cross Country Regional Results

Congratulations to the men's Cross Country team for winning the Regional Championship title against 19 other teams. The men will be racing in the state meet on Saturday, November 5.

Marcus Runkle was the overall Regional Champion earning a Regional Podium spot, Drew Walton was 4th making Regional podium, Nathan Phillips was 32nd, Christian Reindle 42nd, Connor Myers 54th, Chase Miller 79th and AJ Ray was 103rd. There were 160 runners in the race.

The women qualified 2 individuals to the State meet and the team finished 8th out of 20 schools. The women missed qualifying as a team by only 3 points.

Leading the way for the women was Anna Conrad 8th earning her a state birth and regional podium spot. Andrea Phillips was 12th place earning her a state birth and regional podium spot. Abbie Pike was 83rd, Julia Widener was 88th, Addy Winters 89th, Taylor Rife 98th and Averey Cottrill 110th. There were 163 athletes in the race.

10/24/22 - Varsity Girls Soccer Advances to District Finals!

The Lady Falcons come away from the District Semifinal with a 1-0 win against Hillsboro. Claire Brown scored the lone goal with 2 seconds left in the first half. From then on the defense stepped up to come away with another clean sheet. The girls will be back in action on Thursday night in the District Final against Unioto, the game will be played at Piketon HS with kickoff at 5:30 p.m.

10/20/22 - Girls Soccer vs. Galia Academy

The Lady Falcons came away with a big win in the Sectional Finals last night against Gallia Academy by a score of 13-0. The girls started off strong and played really well all night long. Goal scorers on the night were: Rachael Warthman with 4, Taylor McCrady with 2, Abbie Pike with 2, and Kylie McMahon, Hanna George, Grace Warthman, Chloe Thompson, and Isabella Neal added the others. Chloe Thompson also added 3 assists and Rachael Warthman had 2. Other assists were credited to Hannah George and Jillian Wilkinson. Isabella Neal had one save in goal. The girls will be back in action for the District Semifinal on Monday night against Hillsboro, the game will be played at Zane Trace High School with kickoff time 6 p.m.

10/19/22 - Boys Soccer vs. Marietta

The varsity boys soccer team ended their season last night at Marietta finishing at 10-6-3. Congratulations to Caden Fyffe, Sam Hammack, Cole Johnson, and Ronnie Rowley for a great senior campaign!

10/17/22 - Varsity Volleyball vs. Washington Court House

Falcon volleyball beat Washington Courthouse in 3 sets. Christian Thompson led with 14 kills, 3 solo blocks and 13 digs. Cara Miller had 13 digs, Josie Kraft and Nicole Terry had 4 kills a piece and Carley Miller had 14 assists. The Falcons continue tournament play at Marietta on Wednesday.

10/17/22 - Varsity Boys Soccer vs. Warren

The varsity boys soccer team beat Warren 4-0 in the first round of the playoffs. Koen Eichhorn finished with two goals and Will Worthington had one. Caleb Redding added one goal and an assist and Aiden McCafferty had an assist. The boys travel to Marietta Wednesday for round two.

10/15/22 - Cross Country - Falcons Sweep the MSL Team Titles

Congratulations to both the men and women for sweeping the MSL team titles!

The Falcon men got off to a great start and fought hard for each other!

Our top 7 men leading the victory were Marcus Runkle 1st - 1st team All MSL, Drew Walton 3rd - 1st team All MSL, Christian Reindle 5th - 1st team All MSL, Nathan Phillips 6th - 1st team All MSL, AJ Ray 10th - 2nd team All MSL, Chase Miller 11th - 2nd team All MSL and Connor Myers 13th - 2nd team All MSL.

The Lady Falcons also set the tone early in the race to earn their victory!

10/7 & 10/14 - Varsity Football Results

Falcons won back to back games over two mid state league opponents over fair break. We defeated Liberty Union 35-26 and Circleville 45-13.

Hayden Collins 409 yards rushing 7 TDs, Jayden Pritchard 75 yards rushing 1 TD, Paul Sullivan missed 3 field goals but had a bingo, Owen Ruff- 83 yards rushing 1 TD, Hunter Clark 1 TD, Chase Harmon 55 yards rushing 1 TD, Bella Neal 11 for 11 PAT 1 for 2 Field Goals

10/12/22 - Varsity Girls Soccer vs. Fisher Catholic

The varsity girls soccer team beat Fisher Catholic with a score of 6-9.

10/10/22 - Boys Soccer vs. Granville

The varsity boys soccer team dropped a contest to Granville with the score of 2-4.

10/8/22 - Girls Soccer vs. Hamilton Township

The varsity girls soccer team tied Hamilton Township 1-1 in league play.

10/6/22 - Varsity Volleyball vs. Logan Elm

Falcon Volleyball beat Logan Elm in 3 sets, 25-21, 25-10 and 25-19. Christain Thompson and Nicole Terry led with 14 kills a piece. Josie Kraft chipped in 8 kills and Carley Miller had 23 assists. JV lost in 3 sets. Kate Smelzer had 6 kills. Jessa Daubenmire had 4 kills and Payton Rhymer had 10 digs.

10/6/22 - Boys Soccer @ Mt. Vernon

The boys soccer team made a long trip to Mt. Vernon and found themselves down twice but twice fought back for the equilizer. Goals scored by Jeremiah Johnson and Koen Eichhorn, assist by Ronnie Rowley.

10/5/22 - Boys and Girls Golf wrap up their 2022 Seasons

The Falcon girls and boys golf teams wrapped up their seasons this week in Sectional and District tournament play.

10/5/22 - Varsity Girls Soccer vs. Logan

The Lady Falcons came away with a hard fought 1-0 win last night against Logan to improve to 10-1-4 on the season. Hannah George scored off a penalty kick following Grace

10/5/22 - Falcon Cross Country dominates Backwoods 2 miler

Great night under the lights for the Fairfield Union Flying Falcons!

The men continue to impress, winning the all division Backwoods 2 miler over 23 teams.

10/4/22 - Varsity Boys Soccer vs. Warren

Varsity Boys Soccer defeated Warren 5-1. Mitchell Ortiz started the scoring, followed by Caden Fyffe and then Caleb Redding finished off the next three. Assists by Ronnie Rowley, Sam Hammack, and Caden Fyffe. JV fell 0-2.

10/4/22 - Varsity Volleyball @ Teays Valley

Falcon Volleyball lost to Teays Valley in 4 sets. Christian Thompson led with 17 kills and 19 digs. Nicole Terry had 12 kills and Carley Miller had 23 assists. JV lost their game in 2 sets as well.

10/1/22 - Girls Soccer vs. Amanda

The Lady Falcons battled through the rain to beat Amanda 3-1 on Saturday night. Chloe Thompson scored the first 2 goals with Rachel Warthman scoring the last goal. Rachael Warthman and Kylie McMahon had the assists on the evening.

10/1/22 - Cross Country @ Panther Invite

The Flying Falcons continue to impress! The Men won another Team Victory over 22 teams Saturday at the Pickerington North Panther Invitational. The men beat second place

9/29/22 - Varsity Volleyball vs. Liberty Union

Falcon volleyball beat Liberty Union in three sets. Cara Miller led the team with 12 digs and 100% serving. Christian Thompson had 17 kills, Nicole Terry had 8 kills and Kayleana Hill

9/28/22 - Varsity Boys Soccer vs. Circleville

Caden Fyffe, Sam Hammack, Cole Johnson and Ronnie Rowley all scored as we celebrated senior night with a league win over Circleville. The boys travel to Amanda on Saturday as they look to close out MSL Play at 5-1-1. the JV boys tied Maysville 2-2.

9/28/22 - Varsity Girls Soccer @ Circleville

The Lady Falcons had a convincing 4-0 shutout win against Circleville last night. The goal scorers were: Jillian Bennet, Anna Pike and Chloe Thompson with 2. Rachael Warthman tallied 3 assists and Grace Warthman had the other.

9/27/22 - Varsity Boys Golf - Southeast District Sectional Tournament

Congratulations to the Falcon boys golf team on their outstanding victory Tuesday in their Southeast District Sectional tournament. The team fired a season low round of 319 to capture 1st place. Ty Fisher was low Falcon and co-medalist with a 77, Isaiah DeLong and Caleb Boyer with 80, Elijah Reed 82 and James Bean with 90. The boys travel to Crown Hill golf course Oct 5th for District tournament play and a chance to move on to the State Championship.

9/26/22 - Varsity Girls Soccer vs. Unioto

The Varsity Lady Falcons came away with a 2-1 win last night over, a very strong and tough Unioto team. Hannah George opened up the scoring by finishing a breakaway in the first half and Bailey McMahon added the game winner early in the 2nd half. Bella Neal saved a

9/26/22 - Varsity Boys Soccer at Lucasville Valley

Varsity Boys Soccer traveled to Lucasville last night to finish a 3 week road trip. JV started the night with a 3-1 win and the Varsity followed with a 3-2 win! Two goals scored by Caleb Readding and one by Sam Hammack, two assists by Saleh Alcorn and one by Koen Eichhorn.

9/24/22 - Varsity Cross Country Bob Reall Invitational

Both the Men and Women won the Division II/III races today at the Bob Reall Invitational. We also took both individual titles!

9/24/22 - Varsity Volleyball Over Licking Valley

Varsity Volleyball topped Licking Valley led by Carly Miller with 27 assists and 100% serving. Christian Thompson had 24 kills while Nicole Terry and Kayleana Hill chipped in 9 kills a piece. JV also won their game.

9/23/22 - Varsity Football vs. Logan Elm

The Falcons put up some impressive numbers while playing the strong Logan Elm Braves. Hayden Collins looged 136 yards rushing, 17 yards passing and 1 TD. Jayden Pritchard added 28 years, 1 TD and 3 tackles, Owen Ruff with 43 yards and 7 tackles, Carter Murdock

9/22/22 - Varsity/JV Boys Golf

The Varsity and JV golf teams traveled to Denision Golf Club to compete in their MSL #4 tournament. The varsity finished in 3rd place with a score of 355. James Bean was the low

9/21/222 - Varsity/JV Boys Soccer vs. Hamliton Township

The Varsity Boys Soccer team got a league win last night defeating Hamilton Township 4-1. Caleb Redding finished with 3 goals and 1 assist, Caden Fyffe had a goal and Koen Eichhorn, Sam Hammack and Cole Rowley all had assists. The JV boys finished with an 8-0 win.

9/20/22 - JV Boys Golf @ Pickaway Country Club

The JV boys golf team played at Pickaway Country Club Tuesday afternoon. The team finished 2nd out of 4 teams with a score of 215, Circleville 205, Logan Elm 217 and Vinton County 223, Chas Cross was low falcon with 47 Carson Barlow 52 Daniel Householder and Landen Lee 58 Keadyn Castle 60 Noah Clark 69 and Ryan Drury 70.

9/20/22 - Varsity Girls Golf @ MSL Tournament

The Lady Falcon golf team competed in their final MSL tournament of the season at Westchester golf course. Low Falcon was Chloe Barlow with 101, Brooke Brown 111 and Grace Dye 123.

9/19/22 - Varsity Boys Golf @ Pickaway Country Club

The Falcon boys golf team left Pickaway Country club victorious with wins over Logan Elm 175 and Zane Trace 176 to the Falcons 164.

9/19/22 - Boys Varsity Soccer @ Athens

The Varsity Boys soccer team lost a heartbreaker vs. state ranked Athens, 4-5. The boys played incredibly well and came within inches of the equilizer multiple times in the closing minutes. Goals by Caden Fyffe, Caleb Redding and two from Aiden McCafferty. Assists by Redding and Koen Eichhorn.

9/17/22 - Varsity Cross Country - Falcon Invitational

The Falcons hosted Hamilton Township on 9/16 - Hayden Collins had 139 yards rushing 2 TDs 2 Tackles, Jayden Pricthard 57 yards rushing 1 TD 2 Tackles, Kevin Hazelwood 6 Tackles 19 yards rushing, Ian Headley 5 Tackles 1 TFL, Kyle Wolfe 4 Tackles, Carter Murdock 4 Tackles, Thomas Poling 4 Tackles 2 TFL, and Isabella Neal 3/3 PATs and 1/1 Field Goals.

9/15/22 - Varsity Volleyball @ AC

Falcon volleyball lost in 5 sets to Amanda. Christian Thompson led with 22 kills, 3 solo blocks and 35 digs, breaking the school record for digs.

9/15/22 - Varsity Boys Golf @ MSL Tournament

The varsity boys golf team played extremely well in their redo of MSL #2 at Turnberry golf course on Thursday afternoon.

9/14/22 - Varsity Girls Golf Tri Match

The Lady Falcons struggled yesterday afternoon at Foxfire golf course losing to Teays Valley and Liberty Union.

9/14/22 - Boys Soccer @ Teays Valley

The Falcons traveled to Teays Valley and went ahead on three separate occasions with goals from Ronnie Rowley, Caden Fyffe, and Caleb Redding.

9/14/22 - Girls Soccer vs. Teays Valley

The Lady Falcons continue to improve and came away with a 3-0 win against a good, physical, Teays Valley team last night.

9/13/22 - Boys JV and V Golf

The Falcon varsity and jv golf teams were in action Tuesday afternoon at Pumpkinvine golf course. The varsity finished 2nd with a score of 165.

9/13/22 - Falcon Volleyball vs. Logan elm

Falcon Volleyball dropped a close game against Logan Elm. Scores were 19-25, 25-19, 21-25 and 20-25.

9/12/22 - Golf Results

Congratulations to the Lady Falcon golfers on their 4th league win in a row. The ladies defeated Liberty Union 214 to 240. Abby Evans was match medalist with 46 Brooke Brown 49 and Chloe Barlow 52.

9/12/22 - Varsity/JV Volleyball vs. Zanesville

Fairfield Union Volleyball swept Zanesville in 3 sets. 25-9, 25-11 and 25-4.

9/12/22 - Varsity Girls Soccer @ Athens

The Lady Falcons went into Athens last night and battled for 80 minutes before coming out with a 2-0 win. The game was deadlocked at the half 0-0. Early in the second half Rachael Warthman found the back of the net on a rebound off of a shot by Kylie McMahon.

The Lady Falcon golf team competed in the Bloom Carroll girls golf invitational Saturday afternoon at Pine Hill golf course.

9/9/22 - Varsity Football vs. Teays Valley

The Varsity Falcons dropped a tough contest to the Teays Valley Vikings with the final score of 27-14.

9/8/22 - Varsity Volleyball over Teays Valley

Fairfield Union Volleyball beat Teays Valley in five sets. Scores were 25-21, 25-21, 19-25,19-25, and 15-11.

9/8/22 - Varsity Boys Soccer drop a tough game to the Berlin Bears

Boys Soccer traveled to Olentangy Berlin H.S. on 9/8/22 to face the Berlin Bears.

9/7/22 - Lady Soccer Falcons win a tough Battle vs. Liberty Union

The Lady Falcons battled through a tough and physical game to come away with the win over Liberty Union by a score of 2-1.

9/8/22 - Lady Falcon Golf team is victorious over League Rival Bloom Carroll

Congratulations to the Lady Falcon golf team on their great victory against league rival Bloom Carroll by a score of 201 to 218.

9/7/22 - Lady Golfers defeat Libery Union

The Lady Falcon golf team defeated Liberty Union at Coyote Run 224 to 234.

9/6/22 - Varsity Volleyball with a Sweep over LU

Falcon Volleyball swept Liberty Union 25-21, 25-20 and 25-22.

9/6/22 - Lady Golfers battle Logan Elm

The Lady Falcon golf team was victorious Tuesday afternoon in their league match against Logan Elm by a score of 225 to 235.

9/5/22 - JV and V Boys Golf Team News

On Saturday September 3rd, the JV Falcon boys golf team competed in The Buzz scramble at Mount Vernon and the Varsity Boys traveled to Westchester for the Bob Darwin Invite hosted by Bexley.

9/3/22 - Varsity Cross Country Crush the Competition @ Circleville Invite!

The men’s team beat second place by 52 points and competed against 22 teams. They came in strong with 7 guys in the top 31 out of 209 runners.

9/2/22 - Varsity Football over Lakewood 34-19

September 2, 2022 - Falcons with a big win over Lakewood. Hayden Collins had 200 total yards, 2 TDs and 5 tackles.

8/31/22 - Canal Winchester

The Men’s Cross Country team took 1st place against 14 teams at Canal Winchester, beating the 2nd place team by 26 points.

8/27/22 - Newark Catholic Invitational - Run the Du

August 27, 2022 found the mens and womens cross country teams at Bryn Du mansion.
