2021 Summer Enrichment Program Highlights
The 2021 Summer Enrichment Program for Grades K-4 ended on Friday, August 6. Teachers and students alike enjoyed learning through games and hands-on projects.
The Be Falcon Fit Program. "Oh the places we will go!" The students have come into the program energized to stay fit and healthy. The first week of the program each student accomplished an average of 47,000 steps for the week equaling approximately 13 miles. Each week we award a student as "stepper of the week" congratulations to Lillian M. setting the bar high with 47,550 steps.
Every day after hiking and walking the trails , we choose an activity. The students enjoyed playing in the creeks along the land lab trails, painting kindness rocks that were placed around the middle school, district office, and land lab with inspiring words for others to see. It has been very hot in the first two weeks of the program so the students decided to stay cool with water balloon fights, and playing freeze tag in the shaded areas of the land lab.
Be sure to scroll through the photo gallery to see what other students were enjoying during the Summer Enrichment Program.
