Third graders in Mrs. McCandlish’s class did their first “choice board” for the year. We read a text about animal homes and the students chose and researched an animal from the text. Following this, they chose to either make a poster, an acrostic, a diorama or a puppet to share what they had learned. Students finished up with short presentations.
