3/5/2023 - Boys Basketbal District Final vs. New Lexington

The Falcons are District champs after a 58-41 win over New Lexington. Caleb Schmelzer ahd 22 points and 11 rebounds and Caleb Redding added 16. The boys will be back in actino Thursday night in the Sweet 16 against Tri Valley. Tip Off at the Convo is 8 p.m.

3/1/2023 - Boys Basketball with a big tournament win.

The Falcons traveled to Southeastern High School to take on Gallia Academy. Coming down to the wire, the Falcons were able to pull off a big win on the heels of a last second bucket by Caleb Redding. The Falcons play New Lexington on Sunday, March 5 at 2 p.m. as they continue their tournament play.

2/24/2023 - Varsity Girls Basketball vs. Fairland

The Lady Falcons ended their season Friday night as district runner-ups for the 2nd straight year after a loss to #2 state ranked, Fairland. Nicole Terry and Christian Thompson both had 14 points and Elly Lewis added 9. Shout out to seniors Isabella Neal, Nicole Terry, and Jillian Wilkinson who won 37 games, an MSL Title and 2 District Runner-Ups over the last 2 seasons to close out their careers!

2/25/2023 - Varsity Boys Basketball vs. Marietta

The Falcons defeated Marietta 47-30 on Saturday night to win the sectional championship. Caleb Schmelzer had 14, Ted Harrah had 11 and Caleb Redding added 9. The team gave up just one point in the fourth quarter. The boys will now play Gallia Academy Wednesday night at Southeastern High School. The student section has been great all year long. Let's hit the road Wednesday and keep supporting the team.

2/22/23 - Varsity Boys Basketball Tournament vs. Logan Elm

The Falcons started tournament play with a 45-33 win over Logan Elm. Caleb Schmelzer led the team in scoring with 12 points and Caleb Redding added 10. The Falcons will be back at home Saturday night playing Marietta for the Sectional Championship.

2/20/23 - Varsity Girls Basketball

Make it 9 in a row! The Falcons move on to the District Finals for the 2nd straight year with a 45-40 win over #4 Marietta! Some top performers from the game:

The ladies will compete for a district championship on Friday at Southeastern HS against Fairland at 6PM! Plan to drive down and root on the ladies!

2/16/23 - Varsity Swim @ Districts

Congratulations Bailey McMahon, Lyza Vail, Megan McMahon, and Emily Burke!!! They competed in the District Swim meet yesterday. Their 200 Medley relay team placed 13 and broke the school record by -2.69 seconds!!!! Lyza competed in the 200 Individual Medley and placed 14/32 and the 500 Freestyle and placed 9/32!! 2/16/23 - Varsity Lady Falcons with a Big Tournament Win!

Your Falcons come away with their 8th straight W, this time against 16th in the state, Warren! Christian Thompson led the team with 10P, 17R, 3A, 3S, and 3B! Averey Cottrill brought the energy off the bench and led defensively, causing 5 steals as well as dishing out 2 assists. Nicole Terry had 9P, 2R, 3S, and 2B; Elly Lewis had 7P, 3R, 2A, and 3 S; and Sam Sattler had 5P and 5 R.

The ladies play Monday night at Logan HS at 8:00 against #4 seed Marietta; make the short drive and bring "The Nest" to Logan! Go Birds!

The girls basketball team went 0-3 over the holiday break, losing on a halfcourt buzzer beater to Amanda Clearcreek 49-51, 50-56 to then-undefeated Bloom Carroll, and 32-52 to Sheridan last week. Nicole Terry averaged 16.7 points per game and 10 rebounds per game over that span.
