What are you learning this summer?

Fairfield Union has compiled a list of 2024 summer camps and programs for students in grades K-12.  There is a wide variety of options from all over the state of Ohio. We hope this list encourages all students to attend camp and extend their learning.

Summer Programs

We will add new opportunities as we receive them, check back often!

Air Camp


Grades 7-9 Intensive one-week schedule and unique curriculum that puts science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) in the context of aviation and aeronautics.

Grades 4-9 Piano Camp, String Camp, Band Camp, Music Theater Camp.

BalletMet Summer Dance Camps (day)


Ages 8-17 Summer classes cover a wide range of dance styles at various levels including creative movement, ballet, jazz, modern, tap, and Pilates.

B-Wiser Science Camp for girls (residential)


Grade 7 Open to girls who are completing the seventh grade. Classes in chemistry, LEGO® robotics, physics, model-robotics, biology, and geology.

Be Wise Camp for Girls (residential)


"Rising" to grades 7-8 at Denison University camp for girls who are interested in science, technology, engineering and math camp (STEM) designed to develop interest, excitement, and self confidence in young women.

"Rising" to grades 3-6

STEM Summer Program That Turns Curious Students Into Innovative Thinkers. Hands-on challenges that encourage creative problem solving, teamwork, entrepreneurship, and innovation in science and technology. Nationally acclaimed summer program where STEM concepts come to life.

CATCO is Kids Summer Camps


Ages 6-18

Gives students the opportunity to explore their creative side.

CCAD - Columbus College of Art & Design


Available to students in grades K-12.

Foreign Language Camp (Camp OFLA)


Grades 3-8 Residential elementary foreign language camp. Learn in small class settings then practice it by cooking, dancing, singing, playing, hiking and arts and crafts activities. Eat and sleep in like- language groups. Offers one week with several different language choices.

Franklin Park Conservatory (day)


Ages 8-13 Daytime programs in nature and art for students. Dates and prices vary according to the selected camp.

GERI Purdue Summer Residential Programs (residential) (Gifted Education Resource Institute)


Grades 5-11 Offers programs designed to stimulate the imagination and abilities of gifted students. 

Math Plus Summer Tech Camps


Grades 3-8 For kids who love math and tech.

MD Camp


Grades 10 -12 The Ohio State University College of Medicine: MD Camp, sponsored by the Area Health Education Center is a three-week summer day camp providing participants an experience in the rigors of medical school.

Musking University - Virtual Summer Enrichment Camp

Open to students who are entering grades 3-7 for the 2024-2025 school year and are identified as gifted.
Several 50-minute sessions will be offered, July 15-18 (Mon. - Thurs.), 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM. Our team of licensed teachers, all of whom are completing the Gifted Intervention Specialist (GIS) Endorsement Program, will create interesting and mind-stretching Virtual Camp sessions. This FREE camp requires internet access and the ability to join Zoom sessions. Any materials needed for sessions will be general household items.

Once the details are finalized (end of June), a registration link will be sent to everyone that expressed interest. Campers will have the option of attending any or all sessions offered. A student does not need to attend every hour of every day of camp.

Northwestern University Center for Talent Development (CTD)


Grades 4-12 Provides challenging enrichment, honors and Advanced Placement® courses to encourage gifted students to explore academic areas of interest and connect with a community of peers.

Ohio Craft Museum - Summer Art Camps


Grades 1-12 Nurturing creativity through summer art camps, offering a variety of themed projects using different mediums. Young Masters grades 1-6 and Teen Summer Workshops Grades 6-12

Ohio Northern University’s Summer Camps


Pharmacy Camp - High School students who will be entering their Junior or Senior year.

Pathways to STEM Camp - High School students who will be entering their Junior or Senior year in Fall 2023.

Music Camp - Students in grades 7-12 can participate in many performing and educational opportunities.

Ohio State University Nursing Program


Grades 10-12 Exploring nursing careers.

Ohio State University School of Music, Youth Summer Music Programs


Day programs for students in elementary, middle, and high school.

The OSU School of Music offers a diverse series of summer programs. Resident programs with commuter options. Specifically designed to further students' understanding of – love for – music. Various programs by instruments or voice, group or band.

Ohio Supercomputer


Grades 10-11 Two-week program working in Center Summer Institute; small peer teams to use (residential) supercomputers for practical applications to solve complex math, science and engineering problems.

OWjL Camp at Ohio Wesleyan University (residential)


Grades 6-8

Academic camp for students who score in the 95th national percentile in math or reading on measures of academic achievement,or who have otherwise demonstrated exceptional talent, creativity, or leadership.

Robot Academy Amazing Lego Robot Camps (day)


In summer tech camps, students ages 8-14 design, build, and program working LEGO robots (using LEGO Mindstorms EV3 & NXT) and invent contraptions using 3D Modeling/Printing. This is a full STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) experience.

Thurber House Summer Writing Camp (day)


Students in grades 3-8. Daytime summer creative writing in a variety of genres.

WildeCamp at the Wilds (residential)


“Rising” grades 3-12 Campers are immersed in exciting outdoor activities in nature/animals/conservation. Adventure Camp not eligible for STS scholarship.

Wright State Univ. Professional Business Institute (residential)


High school students who will be sophomores (grade 10), juniors (grade 11), and seniors (grade 12) in the following academic year should apply. This is a five-day residential business camp where students are exposed to economics, accounting, marketing, finance, management, information system management, and entrepreneurship.

Young Scholars Program (YSP)
Young Scholars Program (YSP), a two-week, fully-funded residential program for seventh and eighth-graders across Ohio on the historic campus of Western Reserve Academy (WRA) in Hudson, Ohio. The program seeks up to 20 current seventh- and eighth-grade students from smaller communities throughout Ohio who have demonstrated exceptional academic ability and genuine intellectual curiosity across a broad range of academic areas.
