Kids Heart Challenge Update

The 2024 Kids Heart Challenges at Bremen and Pleasantville Elementary have both completed another successful year of collecting donations.  All students jumped in their PE class to help their own hearts.  They also learned about Hands-Only CPR, AED’s, and what to do if an emergency situation occurs.

12th Annual Kids Heart Challenge

Students at Bremen and Pleasantville Elementaries are kicking off the 12th Annual Kids Heart Challenge in Mrs. Valesko's class.  Many young people are finding it harder than ever to stay active and eat better.  KHC's service learning approach is so relevant right now, and a great way to continue helping all of us recommit to living the healthiest lives possible!  While we are helping our students feel good by doing good, we are supporting the American Heart Association's important mission.  Families who participate can feel great knowing that they have helped people with special hearts, including children born with congenital heart defects, by supporting the Association's work to fund critically needed scientific advances, community health initiatives, and educational programs.  Read on for full details:
