Bremen and Pleasantville Elementary February News

Dear Parents,

With Valentine’s day quickly approaching, we would like to make every attempt to celebrate in a more traditional way while still following COVID safety protocols. You will be receiving detailed information from your child’s teacher about Valentine boxes/bags and a list of the students in your child’s class soon.

Your child’s teacher will determine if you will need to make a Valentine’s Day box/bag at home or if your child will make a box/bag at school. If one is made at home, it will need to be brought to school by Monday, February 8th.  All students will need to bring Valentine cards addressed to all their classmates on Monday, February 8. Teachers will be sending home class lists for the students to use for filling out the cards. The Valentine cards will be passed out on Monday, February 8th, and the bags will sit in quarantine for the recommended 3 days before distributing to the students. Students will be permitted to open their Valentines in class on Thursday, February 11, before bringing them home.

Please make sure that NO candy accompanies the Valentines. Unfortunately, COVID protocols do not allow students to share candy or treats with their classmates.

Please reach out to your teacher for further details, or if you have any questions or concerns.

Thank you very much,

Marcia Miller

Jeff Rippl
