CANDY GRAMS AND DONUTSMembers of the Key Club raised money by selling Candy Grams and donuts. The money raised was used to purchase Christmas for a boy at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, and his family.BELL RINGINGKey Club Members also volunteered to "Ring the Bell" for the annual Salvation Army project.

Key Club and NHS members baked 60 dozen cookies for the Bremen Food Pantry on Saturday, December 2, 2023. The cookies will be distributed to families in the community by FFA members.

Members of the Key Club recently decorated pumpkins and delivered them to Buckeye Care and Rehabilitation for everyone to enjoy. (Some of the pumpkins were donated and decorated by National Honor Society members.)

Hannah Penrose is one of the new ag teachers joining Fairfield Union for the 2022-2023 school year. She graduated from Van Buren High School and grew up in Findlay, Ohio. She lived on a small family farm raising chickens, turkeys, and dairy goats. She also attended Wilmington College and received a degree in Agricultural Education and Animal Science in December of 2022. During high school she was active in FFA, Jr. Fair Board, 4-H, and Camp Counselor. This is her first year teaching and very excited for her freshman classes!Also joining Fairfield Union for 2023-2024 in the Agriculture department is Dakota Brame. Dakota graduated form The Ohio State University in the spring of 2022 with a degree in Agri-science Education. He grew up in southern Perry county on his family farm growing crops and raising beef cattle. He was active in the FFA at New Lexington high school through out all 4 years of high school as well as the Jr. Fair board for Perry County from when his age allowed it through 2017 when he graduated high school. He is now an active member of the New Lex FFA Alumni and looks forward to working all the students in the coming year.
