Hard Work Pays Off for FFA Students
The Fairfield Union FFA chapter is very proud of the hard work and dedication of their students. We would like to congratulate the following state degree recipients: Ben Beiter, Hannah Beyer, Brooklyn DeFazio, Colt Dennis, Nate McCandlish, Seth McCrady, Brody Morgan, Emma Moyer, Trevor Thomas, Meredith Yerian.

The Fairfield Union livestock judging team competed at the Wilmington invitational and placed 2nd as a team. Top 4 scores were Josh Starner, Braydon Barber, Jeff King and Jonah Starner. The following placed individually out of 1400 participants: Josh Starner 2nd, Braydon Barber 20th and Jeff King 34th.  

Also congratulations to the following proficiency applicants on their achievements. These students completed a lengthy application that covered their supervised agricultural experience area and competed again other Ohio FFA members.

Nick Barrett - 2nd place (silver rating) in the district in Ag Processing.
Brooklyn DeFazio - 1st place in the district (silver rating) in Veterinary science.
Carley Miller - 1st place (bronze rating) in the district for Diversified Crop Placement.

The following students have been selected as the Top 4 members in their respective categories in the ENTIRE state of Ohio. These students will compete in April and receive final placings at the virtual Ohio FFA convention on April 30th.

Nate McCandlish - Landscape Management
Allison Baker - Vegetable Production
Meredith Yerian - Agricultural Mechanical Design & Fabrication

Please congratulate all of these students on their VERY hard work as these awards are only given to the top members in the State of Ohio!
