94th Annual National FFA Convention

Day 1: students visited Young’s Dairy and attended Cinch’s World Toughest Rodeo.
Our livestock team competed at the national contested where they had to place 12 live classes and prepare and recite 4 sets of oral reasons.

Day 2: students attended the FFA Career Expo and shopping mall in the morning. We then attended the 2nd general session where we got to witness Meredith Yerian on stage being recognized for her National Proficiency Award where she placed 2nd. We also got to watch National officer Anna Mathis give her retiring address. The livestock team also received their team and individual ratings at their awards banquet.

Day 3: we traveled to Pursue University where students had the the opportunity to tour their agricultural campus and speak with Purdue student ambassadors. We then traveled to the Wolf Park where we were given an educational tour and demonstrations on their conservation practices for wolves, foxes and bison. We then enjoyed a fun evening of bowling, pizza and laser tag.

It was so great to be back in Indy creating memories that will last a lifetime!
