Coding with Lego Mindstorms - Grades 7-8 (1 Hour)

Do you enjoy building with Legos? Do you want to learn how to code? Do you enjoy topics like science, technology, engineering and math? If you answered “Yes” to all three of these questions then this is a course for you! You will begin by constructing a Driving Base out of Legos. You will follow guided instructions for building the base as well as a variety of extensions and then you will use block coding to program your robot to mimic tasks performed by robotic equipment used in the real world. You will be tasked with a variety of additional challenges with topics related to science and engineering. This is a beginner’s level course that requires teamwork, perseverance, and problem-solving.
