Instructor Mr. Gregory—June 7-18
This two-week course running from June 7th - June 18th is designed for anyone in grades 9-12 interested in developing their vocal and theatrical skills. A workshop atmosphere in the auditorium from 10am-12pm will be provided for all students as they learn to better their understanding of musical theatre repertoire and performance techniques. Students will receive individualized and group vocal technique instruction. Every student is at a different vocal skill level, so the course will be adapted to each students’ needs whether they are at a beginning vocal skill level or advanced. Students will be coached on an individual song given by the instructor, as well as collaborating on a duet with another student. The students will perform these songs for each other at the end of the two-week program. (This course is designed for students who are already involved in the vocal program at Fairfield Union, but will welcome anyone who wants to participate!)
