Are you a storyteller? Do you have lots of ideas, but need help getting them organized and down on paper? Do you enjoy writing, but struggle to come up with ideas? Do you want to use your creativity to write stories, but you don’t know where to start? Or maybe you are already a strong writer but want to continue to improve your skills and get some new ideas for your writing.
If any of these describe you, then Creative Writing in Room 110 is the place for you! During our time together we will explore a variety of writing genres and formats to find the ones that most interest you. We will spend our time generating ideas, building strong characters, learning the power of word choice, and drafting, editing, and publishing our work. You will learn how to create captivating worlds, build suspense and pull the reader into your story. By the end of our time together you will have tons of story ideas, lots of tools to help you organize your writing, and several finished writing pieces.
