Cyber Security is a very interesting topic. There isn’t a day goes by where you can’t find an article about some cyber security incident. Some companies never fully recover from a major security breach and end up going bankrupt. Even our Ohio National Guard has created a civilian-based Cyber Security division to help battle this ever-growing threat. A recent notification published from the FBI warned all school districts that the majority of recent Ransomware attacks were directed at universities and K-12 school districts. With this opportunity we will spend an hour together each day discussing current events that relate to cyber security. We will start to explore computer networks to learn how these cyber attacks take place.
