On February 18, 2016 the Fairfield Union FFA chapter held its third junior/senior meeting for the year. Normally the meetings have a guest speaker and this meeting was no exception. However, this meetings speaker was exceptional! Kevin Kemmerer, a long time Fairfield Union Board member, along with Don Evans, both employees of South Central Power Company, set up a live demonstration of a model power line set up, and spoke about the dangers of interacting with electricity. This event was held in Fairfield Unions Activity Center. With this demonstration, we as a chapter now know the unexpected dangers of a high voltage power line. Also, we are looking forward to the upcoming end of the year Agricultural Education banquet.
